Stan Higgins is a Red River Métis entrepreneur and investor with more than 25 years of experience working alongside Indigenous communities, leaders, and organizations to advance economic development across Canada. He serves on the Board of the Red River Métis Business Development Corporation, contributing to equity investments and lending across diverse Métis-owned enterprises. Stan previously led Indigenous executive search as a Partner at Higgins Executive Search and held senior HR roles at Hewlett-Packard before founding VersaPile in 2011, growing it into a two-time Top 500 Growing Company and a national award–winning innovator in clean energy infrastructure. He brings deep community relationships, operational expertise, and a long track record of supporting Indigenous-owned businesses to scale and succeed.
